Since starting David's Daughter, going on two years ago, I've kept close watch on it's numbers. Oh, maybe that's what I'm supposed to do. But guess what? Numbers are fickle. They can mess with your mind.
Since I'm making confessions, I may as well go all the way. My initial purpose for starting to blog was to build platform and sales for my book, Life with Bobby and Bonnie. There, I've said it. I would really love it if each reader bought a copy. Far more than that, I hope it would raise awareness of the challenges of violence and poverty that at risk kids face every day.
Somehow, that hasn't been enough for you or me. And I'm so thankful.
I'm still writing to the ones I care about. (Psst! That's you.)
You've helped me make a huge paradigm shift. Instead of wanting something from you, now my prayer is to give something to you.
Whether you are one of three visitors, or of three thousand, I hope you find something to encourage you and/or enhance your faith walk. I praise God every time you visit and thank Him for letting me be one of His vessels.
That's it. Or, to put it another way,"You are precious to me, and I have given you a special place of honor. I love you." (Isaiah 43:4a ERV). Thanks for stopping by.
