He said to them, “Go everywhere in the world. Tell the Good News to everyone.
Mark 16:15 ERV
This is going to sound so weird, Dear Reader, but I've kind of been looking forward to this exile from external demands. I've been working hard to not generate the world's longest to-do list. Top spots on the list, reading and writing. Woo-Hoo!
I have a confession, Dear Reader. I have made a deliberate decision not to stress about our Monday chats for a while. If you're a regular visitor, you've probably figured out that I like to do series of posts on a common topic or scripture.
But how do we let it go, and still remain obedient?
Earlier this month, I invited you to join Jubilee and me on the journey to publication. I'm hoping you will join us, but what about Mondays? Then I remembered the "great commission", go everywhere, tell everyone. Jesus doesn't require a monthly topic calendar, just that we share about His amazing grace.
If I blog just for me, it's a hobby. My faith, and sharing it, can't be just a hobby. Jesus didn't sacrifice His life to give me a hobby. He did it to give me hope, hope worth sharing.
Dear Reader, while I'm doing rehab for my knee, I'm taking a break from topics and studies. I'll still be looking for God in the ordinary and the awesome to share during our chats early in the week.
And, in case I haven't told you lately, Dear Reader, thank you for your encouragement and inspiration to do more and do better. My prayer is to offer the same inspiration to you.
